London-based studio Rainlight developed the Sunny collection for Encore Seating to make a statement while also being playful, comfortable and substantial. Taking inspiration from the casual vibes of California, the collection includes guest and lounge chairs, a settee and tables in various sizes, all with the lighthearted and playful expression. 

Defined by the tapered ash wood frames and colourful die-cast aluminum connectors, the shapely seats are generous and inviting and outfitted with comfort-enhancing cushions. 

Nodding to Cali’s surf culture and its “live in the moment” ethos, the Sunny collection by Rainlight suits a range of interior styles, from laid-back and casual to sophisticated and is suitable for use in workspaces, healthcare and educational settings, hospitality venues and more. 

Adding to the versatility of the Sunny collection, a range of finishes are available for the ash wood portions (Alabaster Ash, Sand Ash, White Oak on Ash, Walnut on Ash, Cocoa Ash, Smoky Umber Ash, Slate Grey Ash, Kona Ash, Super Matte Sable Ash or Ebony Ash) and the die-cast aluminum connectors can be one of four standard metal options (Chrome, Metallic Silver, Charcoal Grey or Satin Black) or one of 11 poppy premium metal hues (Glossy Cotton, Matte Cotton, Ice Blue, Stone, Canary, Mint, Clay, Oasis, Sage, Mercury or Matte Black). 

Tables in the Sunny collection come in two heights and can have round or oval tops, both of which can be Wood Veneer (10 finish options), Laminate (14 wood-look options), Fenix (5 colourways) or Solid Surface. A wide range of upholstery options is also available.
