The Ghia 74 tables, designed by Altherr Désile Park for Arper, expands on the studio’s original Ghia collection from 2022. Sharing the similar soft and undulating shapes, the two new sizes create inviting gathering spots in communal spaces.
The larger of the Ghia 74 table supports bigger groups for meetings, dining and other shared events, while the smaller version easily accommodates tighter spaces like underused corners in living rooms, hotel rooms and home offices.
Both versions of the Ghia 74 tables by Barcelona-based studio Altherr Désile Park for Arper are made from FSC-certified oak veneered MDF and express the same compelling organic form. With the larger version, two sculpted base structures support the long surface, with the smaller version, a single pedestal anchors a circular top.
The larger office-intended iterations of Ghia 74 are conveniently equipped with power capabilities and wire management without compromising the sculptural effect.
Arper offers a number of finishes and colourways for all tables in the Ghia and Ghia 74 series, allowing for tailored tables that fit into nearly any situation. Further, the tables are assembled without glue and are designed for complete disassembly, meaning single components can be replaced if needed and recycled.
