When using a garage door for a retail, restaurant or brewery entrance, the Berner Industrial Direct Drive 12 Air Curtain fits the aesthetic. The air curtain is installed to keep flying insects out as well as to save energy and keep interior temperatures stable when the doors are open. In order to keep the doors open during the shoulder seasons, there is an option to add a supplemental heating system.

Recommended for mounting heights up to 3.6 metres for environmental separation and up to 3 metres for insect control, the Industrial Direct Drive 12 air curtain is available in single lengths up to 4.8 metres wide. The air curtain ships fully assembled, keeping installation costs low. It can be either top or wall mounted, depending on the garage door type.

Fitting the garage door aesthetic, the air curtains are durable, with all-welded construction, a gray powder-coated exterior, and mill aluminum inlet panel. Berner powder coats in-house, allowing for color matching to support your designs.

For applications that would prefer to program, operate, and monitor from a smartphone, Berner now has an Industrial Digital Controls package which consists of the Intelliswitch digital controller and the Berner AIR.

This Industrial Digital Controls package allows for true BACnet integration and includes a proactive adaptive setting based on the weather (this optional package must be ordered with the air curtain).
