Bluesound’s NODE Network Streamer is on Sale for $449

The award-winning Bluesound NODE Network Streamer is on sale for $449 — a savings of $150 off the regular retail price.

Save $150 off the Bluesound NODE which Adds Streaming to Any Stereo

We have covered the award-winning Bluesound NODE rather extensively over the past 2 years and there is no question that it has made a strong case for itself as one of the top network streamers available under $1,000.

Starting today, Bluesound is cutting the price of the NODE by $150 and the sale will continue until December 31st, 2023 .

The NODE offers excellent sound quality, multiple connectivity options, and supports multi-room wireless audio through Bluesound’s BluOS 4.0 streaming platform.

Bluesound NODE Black Angle

It’s almost too easy to recommend the Bluesound NODE as the hub of any system because there is a lot more below the surface that most users won’t consider using.

The NODE is one of the most comprehensive streamers with support for MQA, all of the major streaming services, AirPlay 2, voice control through Amazon Alexa, and comes equipped with an internal 32-bit/192kHz DAC.

That last part is important because it means that you can run the NODE directly into a preamp, integrated amplifier, or pair of powered/active loudspeakers as a source — no secondary DAC required.

The NODE now features an HDMI eARC input on the back panel, to keep your setup flexible and future-friendly. Designed to be as comfortable in a two-channel TV system or as it is in an audiophile’s dedicated listening room, the NODE provides a hi-res experience no matter where it’s used.

Bluesound NODE Music Streamer Back

Wi-Fi connectivity, a Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 input, and support for two-way Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD makes the NODE a very comprehensive solution for most users.

This Roon-ready device also plays well in the sandbox with other ecosystems aside from BluOS and sounds decidedly analog for a digital component. New compatibility with Tidal Connect is just additional icing on your Vachon cake.

Bluesound NODE Wireless Music Streamer Front

Advanced controls, including tone controls, subwoofer crossover optimization, and settings to enhance external DAC connections are available in the BluOS Controller app.

At $449, the Bluesound NODE is an excellent option if you are in the market for a hi-res wireless streamer with support for almost every available music streaming platform.

This suggests to me that perhaps Bluesound is clearing out the existing inventory of Nodes in preparation for the announcement of the release of a next gen streamer.

      Gord,

      Maybe. 😉

But if there is one coming…they are being super secret (not really) about it.

Or Wiim has cut into their marketshare?

The timing of this advert for the Node seems rather tonedeaf in light of the recent BluOS 4 rollout debacle. Bluesound components were essentially bricked for two weeks by a premature firmware upgrade. Though the bug is still unresolved, a temporary patch was just released by the very tight-lipped customer care dept. Up to now I’ve been an enthusiastic Bluesound customer, but now I’m wary. Two weeks without music was a surprisingly difficult endurance test.

      Redbeard,

Interesting that Lenbrook were rather quiet about it. I’ve been focused on family matters abroad (Israel) and don’t generally read the forums. Can you send me a link to a thread so that I can read up on it.

      Appreciate the heads up.

Based on the latest update for their Bluesounds node and its inability to allow you to stream your own music from a USB input…. I know it would be very unlikely that I ever waste my money on one of their products again. But it was great up until they ruined it for everyone … was it intentional so we had to buy their almost $2000 vault? Not happening, I’ll just go back to using my laptop and plug it into my NAD amp.
