Mimosa, a new collection of plant holders and plant pots by French designer Ionna Vautrin, is the first in a series of interior accessories intended to complement the wide range of chairs, sofas and tables by Italian furniture and homewares brand Scab Design. 

Conduits for bringing vegetation and greenery indoors, the Mimosa plant holders and plant pots are defined by shapely silhouettes and cheerful colourways, and can be used together to form inviting and nature-infused scenarios in nearly every room of the house. 

Made from polyester powder-coated steel, the Mimosa plant holders from Scab Design are available in two versions – floor-standing and wall-mount – with both featuring sinuous metal tubes and circular surfaces. 

The Mimosa plant holders from Scab Design are available in one glossy finish – Pale Pink (VJ) – and seven matte finishes – Petrol Blue (VI), Linen (VL), Dove Grey (VT), Caramel (VH), Olive Green (VD), Sage Green (VS) and Anthracite Grey (VA). 

Meanwhile, the Mimosa plant pots have an open conical shape that makes reference to a flower’s petal and stem. Made from aluminum, the plant pots are polyester powder-coated in two-colour combinations that enhance the visual strength of each vessel.  

The Mimosa plant pots from Scab Design are offered in two glossy cones with matte base colourways – Shiny Pale Pink (VJ)/Matte Burgundy (VU) and Shiny Aquamarine (VQ)/Matte Petrol Blue (VI) – and three fully matte dual colourways – Linen (VL)/Sage Green (VS), Linen (VL)/Dove Grey (VT) and Linen (VL)/Caramel (VH). 

While the Mimosa plant holders and plant pots can be used independently, when paired together they create playful displays of greenery with strong visual impact.
