Video: The Future of Hi-Fi in 2022

We were part of a panel discussion on the Home Theater Fanatics Livestream on YouTube to discuss the future of hi-fi.

Emiko, Adam Sohmer and myself were guests on Home Theater Fanatics Live! — a a weekly livestream hosted by Jiles McCoy on YouTube. The topic of discussion was the future of hi-fi.

The panel addressed three trends on their radar including the potential for spatial audio, the evolution into more bundled (all-in-one) speakers that are easier to use, and the methods people will consume music via streaming, physical media, and one-off solutions like Kanye West’s Stem player.

We hope you’ll enjoy this lively discussion.

About the panel:

  • Adam Sohmer is PR representative who’s been the hi-fi industry for 19 years.
  • Emiko is our amazing video host/producer, who’s also Sr. Vice President of T.H.E. Show and a musician with a myriad of recording achievements as a singer, songwriter and keyboard/keytar player.
